How-To

This is a new series of articles about making modifications to ABPro.
It will show how to make some basic (simple?) changes to operation of ABPro.
Also check out the Tips & Tricks section of the Forum. When I get some time I will begin migrating those to the How-To section. 

Feel free to send a request for a How-to subject that would help you. These articles will be limited to minor changes only.

Some of these How-to files were written for ABPro 2.0.x / Joomla 2.5.

They will work under ABPro 3 / Joomla 3.x if you change table and component references. 
For example:
File references to com_rsappt_pro2 would be com_rsappt_pro3
Table references starting jos_sv_apptpro2_ become jos_sv_apptpro3_  , your table prefix will likely not be jos_.

Note: Line numbers specified in these articles are approximate and will vary slightly depending on which version of ABPro you are using.

Note2: These mods are tested with the version of ABPro specified at the top of the How-to. These may or may-not work with previous or later releases.They are tested only to the extent that they perform what is specified. They are NOT tested to ensure other parts of ABPro are unaffected. Use at your own risk!
