Why a Web app not a Native?

Time - I am a one man shop and there is no way I can port 20,000+ lines of code to multiple platforms (iPhone, BlackBerry, Android) so I need a way to write a mobile app once and have it useable on multiple platforms.

ABPro Mobile (WEB) is ready to start testing.

ABPro Mobile (WEB) is NOT A JOOMLA COMPONENT (or module or plug-in) it is a JQTouch based web application that runs in conjunction with ABPro.

Here are some limitations of ABPro Mobile (WEB):

Requires ABPro 1.4.6 - ABPro Mobile supports the new Timeslot start/end publishing feature of 1.4.6.
ABPro Mobile (WEB) is tightly integrated with ABPro, to the point of sharing code.
Not compatible with 'Legacy Mode' on Joomla.
No PayPal - PayPal mobile is a whole new beast and will require time to be implemented.
No Extras - Extra charge items are tied to PayPal and as such have not been implemented.
There is a delay in Mobile Safari while it waits to see if your 'tap' is going to be a 'double tap' - no way to turn that off apparently. Makes it seem a bit slugish but it still works. The calendar date picker is a bit slow also.
English only (?) - it uses language files so in theory should be able to run non-English but it has only been tested with English.

The mobile device market is very fragmented at this time - many different devices and versions of software.
ABPro Mobile is not part of the core product ABPro and I cannot offer the same level of support for the mobile apps as for ABPro itself.
