Joomla 1.6

ABPro was originally a Joomla 1.0 app and the Joomla 1.5 version still uses 'Legacy' code within Joomla 1.5.
With Joomla 1.6 they have removed all legacy code so ABPro 1.4.x cannot run on Joomla 1.6.


ABPro 2.0
The primary goal of ABPro 2.0 is to run on both Joomla 1.5 and 1.6.
To that end ABPro is being re-written as a MVC (Model-View-Controller) application which will use no J1.0 legacy code.
Note: V2 still runs on J1.5 sites running in Legacy mode.

New in ABPro 2.0:

• Edit UDF data in the booking detail screen
• WYSIWYG editor for messages text
• Mail functions will use JMail
• Configurable Front-end Advanced Admin tabs
• Extras accessible via Front-end Advanced Admin
• Include .ics attachment with confirmation email to put appointments into MS Outlook or Mac iCal (added in alpha 5)
• Resource specific PayPal account setting, the PayPal account to receive payment can be set at the resource level. (added in alpha 5)
• PayPal timeout [optional], will release locked timeslots after x minutes. Used to free slots when customer bails out of PayPal without paying (added in alpha 6)
